I am late to the party, sure, but this game nail it for me. Simple mechanic, good writing, understandable character - a whole round package. Thanks for this kinda stressing and also heartwarming experience.
Wish you a very happy chrismas. <3
Thank you so much! ๐ Glad you enjoyed it! Happy Holidays :)
This was sweet, the mechanic for chosing answers is interesting. Thanks for making and sharing
How do you get the best ending? I don't know how to communicate well with people in real life so every dialogue choice just leads to Blitzen and Santa arguing about him being a 'sellout'.
I mean I already have to deal with my mother trying to invalidate my complaints when I have genuine complaints with her such as the way she keeps trying to say the way I speak is wrong, saying all of my franchises I like are usually 'phases that I will grow out of' and even saying I'm wrong about myself even though she probably knows nothing about me.
Hi MegamiTensei!
There are multiple ways to reach the best ending. You can avoid that argument entirely, but you don't need to -- it's possible to bring the conversation back on track.
In general, pay attention to the attitude each choice has. Is it dismissive of Santa? Does it throw blame around? How honest is it? Think about which will yield better results.
SPOILER:
Thanks for playing and leaving a comment! Happy Holidays!
I just want to say that this game made me think the way i try to talk to my mom. I got the bad ending first, cause i am on a point that i am tired of not being undertood, but then i tried again and when santa open up i felt like i need to try a little bit more, if noth with my mom, with other people i dont get!
So thank you for that! The game is awesome!
Wow! I'm so glad the game was deeply meaningful to you ๐ That's exactly what I intended: to encourage people to communicate! Thanks so much for playing and commenting ๐ Us game devs really appreciate reading comments like yours!
Happy Holidays! ๐
This is quite amazing! Had quite a lot of fun. But one question...
Why does Santa have car? He clearly should be on a sleigh pulled by humans!
Thanks so much for playing! ๐ Glad you enjoyed the game!
Santa uses the sleigh for Christmas Day, but a car is more convenient for mundane things like picking up the kids from school, lol. ๐
